I had an very nice 10-day honeymoon at Cocotal. The hotel is beautifully maintained and exactly like the photos on their website, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff, especially Ben, were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help with planning tours or anything else I needed. On the downside, there's no on-site restaurant, but there are a couple of great options nearby, and the convenience of having bikes to explore was fantastic.

Cocotal is located a bit farther from downtown, which requires a golf cart or bike to get around. However, I enjoyed the tranquility and beautiful rides to locations like Secret Beach. It's a peaceful area of the island and not too far from the main attractions.

The staff, especially Ben and Yahaira, were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my stay feel special. The location was perfect-peaceful yet close enough to everything I wanted to do. The only downside was that it's a bit farther from the main downtown, so renting a golf cart is a must to get around easily.
